Don’t waste your time hacking at junkyard parts and use a transmission crossmember from Walton Fabrication! We designed a crossmember to bolt in and replace the original stock crossmember during the conversion from a six cylinder engine and transmission to a V-8 with an automatic transmission, does not fit 4L60/4L60E/4L80 (we offer separate transmission for those)
Drilling out rivets is required. This Crossmember bill bolt right back in the same location to mount your aluminum Power Glide, T-350, T-400, or your T-700R4 Transmission behind your V-8 engine.
